Frequently Asked Questions
What is a PDF Pattern?
A PDF pattern is a downloadable sewing pattern that you can print on your home computer. After printing, you can tape or glue the pages together thereby creating pattern pieces in whole similar to the traditional tissue paper patterns.
After purchasing, when will I receive my pattern?
Immediately! That's one of the perks about PDF patterns!
How will I receive patterns?
You will receive your pattern/s two ways.
- On the order confirmation page, click on the pattern/s you wish to download and they will pop up on your screen.
- Via email you will receive a link to the pattern. Click on it and you'll be directed back to the website so you can download the pattern.
If you have any issues or need help downloading your purchase, please contact me, and I'll be happy to help!
Once you download from the link onto your computer, you should save it to a special folder on your computer immediately for future use!
What do I need to print my purchases?
Home printer/ink, copy paper, and Adobe Reader on your computer.
If you don't have "Adobe Acrobat Reader" already, you can go here to download it free... http://get.adobe.com/reader/ This is essential to be able to "read" the pattern.
Note: It's best to use a home computer and not a mobile device for printing up PDF patterns.

Do you offer "shop copy" or A0 paper sized patterns?
Yes, we do! If you would like this option, after purchase shoot me a quick email, and I'll send the file directly to you. It's called a "shop copy" because many print shops have the large printer used to print them up on a large sheet of paper (33x47 inches); and the great thing about this is there's no printing or taping at home!
FYI: Usually printing shops charge $5-10 for b/w; $25-35 for color. This is per sheet. Call your local printer before you order to know their printing price.
Are the seam allowances included?
Yes! I usually use 1/2" seam allowances on wovens and 1/4" on knits.
Can I sell products made from JillyAtlanta Patterns?
Absolutely! My patterns are for your own personal use and even sell garments made from them (I hope you do!). When posting your garments on IG or FB, tag me so I can see your creation too!
Do you offer refunds or exchanges?
Due to the electronic nature of PDF patterns, refunds and/or exchanges aren't offered. Just a reminder...my patterns, tutorials, and photographs are protected by copyright. No part of them can be copied, used, shared, or resold. No part of them can be altered and sold as your own. Thank you for respecting the time and effort I've put into creating my patterns and for your honesty.
