The Birdie Dress! This little number gives you a blank slate, while at the same time gives you a plethora of options so that you can make a different look each time! Choose the lined yoke version (that gorgeous bodice ruffle is on this one!) or unlined yoke (the tie collar or gathered short sleeves that mimic wings of her own is on this one!) you can't go wrong!
Also included are: sleeveless or flutters, button or tie fastening back, vintage or knee length...which are all available when you choose either lined or unlined. Just think, you can give her all the frills or keep it classic A-line. You will love its options, as well as she!
**This pattern comes with two yoke construction options, unlined or lined. Thus, there are two different instruction files, one for either method you wish to sew.**
Note: The model in the first picture is wearing a store purchased cami under her Birdie being that the fabric is sheer.
Sizes 2T, 3T, 4T, 5, 6, 6X, 7, 8, 10, and 12 are all included in this pattern.
Sewing level: Confident beginner to Intermediate (I've labeled this a range because when choosing the unlined version, it's quite simple to construct, where the lined version shows more advanced techniques.)
